Into the blinding light

From a corner, through the glass. Outside, the night is falling fast. i look at you, i look into the blinding light. And it always makes me cry.

Technical stuffs you don't want to know: Well as you can apparently see, i overexposed the picture. But without a graduated filter at hand, and with the train speeding ahead, i had to expose for the details in the mountains and water. What more the dirty train window pane further diminished the available light. The salvation, i sincerely hope, is in the dramatic presentation and your personal interpretation.

Sidenote: You might want to adjust your monitor brightness and contrast so that you could see all 16 shades of grey (or at least as many as possible) on the top right of this page. Otherwise the picture might appear one giant black mess to you.
