Afternoon drinker

(More comments later, after i catch up on my 16 hours of sleep – today's and yesterday's...)

This is one of the many pubs along Boat Quay. Being located at the corner of the long terrace that used to be godowns in Singapore's early days, the pub has the previlege of extending its shopfront a little to the side as well. Interestingly, it looks to me like somewhere in Barcelona (ala The Spanish Apartment) from this angle. Yes, despite it being the Victorian London Pub.

Though it is not my favourite topic, and definitely not my forte, i find myself more and more drawn to street photography lately. One problem with that is sometimes you see things that amuse yourself (like a London Pub that looks Spanish) and you shoot them, but it turns out that the only one impressed is yourself.

So leave a comment and let me know if this shot works for you as well yar? If it doesn't, please also leave a comment and let me know. :)

Sidenote: The ice-skating was great. Nothing feels more carefree than a (successful) crossleg turn. i'm happy (and surprised) that i did improve, at the cost of two very heavy falls. Wanna see the bruise on my butt? Haha meanwhile thanks to great friends who make it worth it to skip my post-duty sleep. :)
