Sidenote: So the story goes, i boarded one of these river taxis running the Singapore River in the hope of capturing some shots from a different perspective. But the front rows having been occupied by Western tourists, and the sky being a hopelessly boring grey, i promptly fell asleep and remained so throughout the half-hour ride.
