While setting up my camera for this picture on the Sentinel Dome, i wondered how the early pioneers who saw the Yosemite Valley from up there felt. It's as if Nature had spent some extra time and effort on this stretch of landscape than others.

i was just back from Lake Tahoe for the Thanksgiving weekend. Snowboarding was great fun, but i don't have any picture to show. It's hard to shoot when moving in a large group, so i just concentrated on having fun. But i'll definitely return!
